The thoughts of Marius

Marius has had the limelight for an adequate amount of time so I shall now post. As to his fate ... he is considering permanently moving to our next-door-neighbors' house (his second home), but is still tetter-tottering on that decision since two other cats already live there. They might cramp his style. I've been trying to talk Marius into adopting the York family since I heard Celia (the three year old) wants a nice kitty, but he just yawns when I mention it so I don't take that as a good sign. If you hear of other options please let me know and I'll bring them to his attention when he can find the time. I have to catch him between naps.

I only have five more minutes to post and then I need to get ready to teach my Latin classes. School's over after next week.

I've been packing everything. Nuf said.

Thought of the day from my morning devotions:
Exodus 14:13-14. Moses answered the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only be still."

I didn't intend to post another blog that was primarily dedicated to Marius,

but oh well.

Great devotional verse!

Don't worry about the repeating posts, Mariusisms tend to creep into all of life. I find myself yawning and stetching over backwards when people are talking to me. Some humans may even consider this rude!

Which would be weird because obviously if you are capable of stretching over backwards you are not capable of being rude.

I see your point, Feanor, catlike qualities are never rude

... except for maybe Amy's angry cat t-shirt that says, "What part of Meow don't you understand."

I remember that t-shirt, I think.
As to Marius, he could come live with Sebastion, but Sebastion believes he is king of the mountain. So, I don't know how that would work. Besides, there is the transportation problem.

Poor Marius!!! I would offer to take him but my kitty thinks he is the king of....well, everything. :-) I take care of my sister's cats when she goes on her mission trips to Ukraine and he is a terrible beast then :-P. I agree with Candace. Great verse! See you tomorrow!

Marius is generally a pretty cool guy. I think someone will have pity on his little orange fur and pink eyes. Maybe we should put him in a bottle, give him over to the ocean, and pray for the best!!

He'd have a grand adventure, anyway...

very grand indeed! :-P

Being a cat would be cool (except for the horrificly abused Marius floating about in yowling mournfullness upon the dreadful sea), you wouldn't have to work, and you would get to give off this aura of being amazingly clever without having to know anything, so that you could get down to the really important jobs of napping and making peaceful contentented noises.
